The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People - I Built a Network

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

I’ve found this to be a great way to locate and lock onto my internal compass.

Potentially a daunting read. Covey makes no apology for tackling important issues like integrity and life goals with a level of intensity and depth uncommon in popular personal development. Not even a whisper of hype or rah-rah, this timeless bestseller is packed with important, life changing information and tools.

This would not be the best place to start for your more bubbly team members new to personal development. I could not get into this book for the first year or two of my business. For those deep thinkers, or people needing to address some fundamental leadership issues, this resource is ideal. I’ve found this to be a great way to locate and lock onto my internal compass. Always leaves me with a sense of grounded hope, and a sincere desire to be a better person by applying what I’ve learned, when I revisit this book. A lot to take in and best re-read every couple of years.

See you on the road,

Hi, I'm Helen Jamieson, the author of The Networker - a novel created from experiences on the road to creating over USD $1million with my network marketing business. The book is a fable, a novel, about Sally, a feisty mother of two young children. Sally's feeling exhausted by her job, her lack of money and her negative spouse. Surely successful people didn't have to deal with obstacles like hers? The story follows her into, under and round those obstacles on her quest to take back control of her life using network marketing.
