Making the decision
Can you picture a place about 2 hours’ drive from where you are now?
Great.
Now imagine you’ve decided to walk there to raise funds for a charity you’re passionate about.
That’s quite a big task.
But it’s do-able right?
How would your progress be if you got about an hour into your walk and changed your mind?
Maybe the weather is too cold that day and the cold wind makes your ears sore.
So you turn aroud and head back home.
But once you’re home you remember why you wanted to do that walk in the first place and resolve to set off again.
Only maybe this time it’s too hot and the dust drives you crazy.
So again you go home.
Again you remember your reasons…
…although this time you get blisters, so you turnaround once more.
Can you see that every time you change your mind, you make your job that much harder?
Make the decision to build your business for 13 months straight and then review.
Making the decision over and over and over again, especially when you’re coming up against obstacles, makes the whole process exhausting.
Make the decision once.
And you will find yourself a lot more creative each time you’re faced with an obstacle.
